An Overview of Limapela

Limapela Cedric’s School in Kamfinsa, with 500 pupils in Preschool through Grade 11.
Luyando Community School at Kamafwesa Village, with 380 in Preschool through Grade 7.
The Onesimus Scholarship Programme for a few achieving secondary and tertiary students.
Building and Infrastructure development is ongoing in both schools.
Compassion Outreach for specific needy orphans and vulnerable families.
Medical Needs as they arise amongst our many children and young people.
Income-Generating Projects, including gardens and rental accommodation.

Challenges for 2026

Because enrolment is increasing and projects are expanding, we need to increase our donor income significantly.
Fluctuating exchange rates have not been in our favour for the past six months, reducing the buying power of our donor funds.

Needs can be overwhelming

At times we seem to do no more than scratch the surface. Thank you for supporting us, and please consider increasing your giving. Your support is vital in improving the lives and opportunities of hundreds of children and young people in our Limapela communities in Zambia.

Secondary Building Project

We are grateful to one of our supporters for a donation of US$ 8,413 (NZ$ 14,550) to help cover the shortfall on this project. This donor has asked us to find another donor, or donors, to match this amount. Once we meet this target, the funding needs will be completely subscribed.
